Our desire is to provide the schooner "JOURNEY" to those bereaved for the purpose of conducting a memorial service on the waters of Lake Erie June through September. Captain Chad Grubb is the licensed Captain of the vessel and is responsible for those aboard.
Deb Gilson a vocalist and Crew Chief would provided music at your request.
Captain Chad is available to conduct the service.
We would meet with those planning the service and can provide the following;
- Your choice of person conducting the service.
- A sail to a location of your choice within ten miles of Sandusky Bay.
- Live vocal music or recorded music.
- Decorating the vessel with flags.
- The firing of a cannon.
- Ringing of the ships bells.
- Making soap bubbles.
THERE ARE SOME REQUIREMENTS TO BE INFORMED OF
We can only accommodate children age 10 and older.
Children under the age of 16 would be required to wear a life jacket.
No smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted.
Water and finger foods are permitted.
Soft sole shoes are recommended to prevent injury.
Dress appropriately for the weather. (evening on the water can become cool).
